Back in 1985 the aldermen of Vonyarcvashegy decided to have an outdoor cinema built by Lidó Beach, not far from Terasz Restaurant. Operating seasonally, the cinema used to host film screenings as well as concerts, and after a long hiatus and a recent renovation, it opened in the summer of 2016 as Panoráma Outdoor Cinema.
The movie theater has an updated sound system and unroofed seating area for up to 520 people. During the much-needed facelift, the seats were replaced with more comfortable alternatives. The films featured here are from the past few years, so don’t expect to see the latest Hollywood blockbusters.
Tip: If you come from the beach, turn left at the entrance, and walk about 70 metres to reach the cinema.
