Road 67 and the stars on the sky inspired a popular song by Hungarian band, Republic. The Park of Stars in Zselic lies between Kaposvár and Szigetvár, and it's the perfect example of what that song is about. This is the third spot for stargazing around Lake Balaton, among the ranks of Pannon Observatory and Balaton Observatory. In any other case, it might be a disadvantage for a village to have a sparse popularity, but due to this, the least densely populated part of the country sees a very minimal light pollution and in Zselickisfalud the sky’s the limit: you can enjoy the breathtaking sight through multiple telescopes, even during the day, as one of them can be used for gazing at the Sun, without risking going blind.

The modern building also has two smaller exhibits: one of them shows the nocturnal animals of the surrounding forest, the other displays meteorite pieces (they even have a piece of the Chelyabinsk meteor which entered the Earth’s atmosphere in 2013). The planetarium is amazing; we can search the sky from reclined cinema-seats, but going out to the open-air is also a good choice, as a 25 meters tall observation tower (from where we can see even the Croatian mountains), a special playground, and numerous hiking trails await us there.
