Constructed in Neo-Gothic style, Regina Mundi Parish Church was built in 1860 based on the commission of János Ranolder. The plans, which were designed by József Szentirmay (Scharnbeck), resemble the layout of Vienna’s Votive Church. The community of the parish church is very active, so you’ll probably find the building open on most days. The inside of the church definitely worth a visit for its rose windows, statues, ceramics and wooden decoration elements, altar, the organ, that was built here in 1933, and the brass lamps that were most likely made around the turn of the century.
