Reneszánsz Badacsonyi Pálinkaház is a small family business. The smallness is not entirely true, because there's room enough for 50 pálinka-lovers in the reception area. What is more, they can drink 30 different kinds of pálinka, but the family business label is valid.
The wife is responsible for the food, while the husband is making the best artisanal pálinka.
This place opened at the feet of Badacsony in March 2012.
In addition to fruit pálinkas, they also prepare pálinkas of local grape variations and their pomaces (the grape residues left over from winemaking). We definitely recommend the blackberry pálinka, the Irsai Olivér pálinka and the Sauvignon Blanc pomace pálinka.
