Located in Révfülöp, on the edge of the Káli Basin, Szigeti Beach is popular mainly among families with little children. There’s a playground and a sandbox for smaller kids as well as a sandy volleyball court for older visitors. You’ll have no difficulty finding shade in the park area, so this is not a place only for sunbathing enthusiasts. When it comes to gastronomy, don’t expect anything out of the ordinary: you can get the usual beach dishes, and the quality is average.
In the evenings, beachgoers are replaced by movie buffs, as the beach is home to Sziget Outdoor Cinema where you can marvel at the stunning backdrop of Balaton as you enjoy the latest blockbusters.
