In Szántódpuszta, we can travel back 150-200 years in time in the Tourist and Cultural Center to explore a contemporary manor with about thirty buildings preserved in their original state, including the oldest, a more than 300-year-old castle.
There are other attractions here, as well – hence their Architectural Award for Excellence and the Europa Nostra Award –, such as the aquiarium, displaying the flora and fauna of Lake Balaton, the equestrian center and the Szent Kristóf Chapel.
The equestrian centre offers a variety of programs, including horse-drawn carriage riding, horseriding and pony riding. Besides them, visitors can get to know other animals too, view exhibitions of local history.
