Although the name suggests so (it means Tagyon’s Secret Pantry), Jutka Hoffmann’s little pantry isn’t such a secret at all, especially since Márga Bistro and Tagyon Estate both get their cordials, jams, and one of Jutka’s specialties, the sunroot chips from here. She either grows the flowers and plants she needs for the herb teas, cordials, and jams in her own garden, or picks them in the wilderness. Jutka loves to experiment, to combine fruits with herbs. The lavender cherry jam was a result of such an experiment, and it’s quite amazing; the sage and peach jam is also something worth knocking on the door of the pantry for (which, by the way is located on the upper level of the family’s house in Tagyon).
