The only remains of the onetime Töttöskál village are the ruins of a Romanesque church. Even though historians agree that it is from the XII-XIII. century, we do not really know anything about its history. After the Turkish invasion in 1531 the village became uninhabited, and the church was abandoned. Later, the new residents of the village renovated the church, but in 1876 it was again recorded as a ruin, as its maintenance is always delayed, even though the arch is about to collapse.

Approaching the ruins is a bit adventurous, but not dangerous; go up on the Szentbékkálla road until you see a sharp left turn, but turn right to an unpaved road. You need to cross a small stone bridge, and then just keep going straight, and after a right-left turn you reach the ruins.
