Tulipán, where they sell the products of Hungarian producers and craftsmen exclusively, opened in an almost two hundred years old building.

It’s like stepping into the kitchen of a great-grandmother: the smell of smoked sausages fills the air, there're splash-clothes with embroidered sayings, dressers, old tin boxes, ceramic bowls, wicker baskets filled with freshly baked goods from Rácz Bakery and Várvölgyi Bakery.

Tulipán distributes local produce that they source from within a 40 kilometer radius, and if they don’t find them here, they’ll bring them in from Vojvodina, Upper Hungary, or Transylvania, so basically from the entire Pannonian Basin; the point is that everything is Hungarian-made.

Tip: This is the best place to find what you need for a real Zala-style breakfast. You can get everything here on this small street of downtown Keszthely: whether it’s dairy products, meat, jams, syrups, wine – you can find everything in one place.
