The hundred-year-old building of Balatonalmádi’s Villa Millennium is prestigious on the outside, but youthful, laid back, modern, spacious, and light on the inside. The rooms here exude friendly vibes, and the colorful accessories are all inspired by Balaton and sailing. Most of the rooms come with a balcony, but if you feel like mingling with the other guests, you can hang out in the upstairs community room or the breakfast room on the ground floor. The building itself is located on a hillside, five minutes on foot from the center of Balatonalmádi, so the terrace – which offers a pretty view of Lake Balaton – is a great setting for an evening chill out session with a few glasses of wine. And while we’re on the subject of wine: you don’t have to bother buying it at a store because the villa stocks some great Balaton vintages that you can purchase at a reasonable price. Those who come by car can park their vehicle inside the villa’s private garden.
