Equipped with adventure pools and slides, Water Park Balatonszemes is located on the public beach in Berzsenyi út, although in a separate section. This means that you need to buy a ticket; guests are charged on a minute-basis.
With heated water and a team of pool attendants, this oasis is truly kid friendly, but there’s still room for special night-time events as well.
If you get hungry during/after some time at the pool, and you find Szemes’ iconic Kistücsök too far away, head to the water park’s very own Napsugár Restaurant. It’s extremely likely that all of these services are part of the reason why the water park is awarded with the Kékhullám Zászló (Blue Wave Flag Award), a distinction for excellent beaches, almost every year.
