Gyenesdiás’ Yacht Club, which also includes the marina of the village, is located not too far from the railway station, next to the Beach of Diás. If after a few hours of sailing you feel like taking a dip or eating tasty, homestyle pancakes, all you have to do is walk over to the club building.
The association, as well as the marina, was founded by local sailing fans and water lovers. Races are regularly held at the four-hectare venue, which is a popular meeting place of both touring and leisure sailors, and the club is also known for offering training for children. The sailboats swaying side by side in the marina make the entire scene look like something straight out of a movie.
Open all year, the club can take care of your boat during wintertime; renting isn't available. The main season, packed with a bunch of cool events, lasts from May through September.
