Dr. László Levendel, a prominent figure in the struggle against tuberculosis, the originator of alcohology, a doctor experienced in the effects diseases have on personality and the psyche, did a work that was much more than his pulmonologist praxis. He was a friend of artists and the arts, who had an intermediary role between mainstream and marginal cultures. The exhibition of Vaszary Villa tries to show the origins of his collection as well as the social history behind it – open from March 24 to July 1.
