The newest representative of rustic romance, Sparhelt Bistro stands right next to the Town Hall of Balatonfüred. Although the bistro genre is relatively unknown in the region, rest assured that Sparhelt lives up to its French brothers not only in name, but also in ambience and kitchen. The restaurant carries modern and minimalist features, which means that most of the furniture is white and made of wood. The bistro pays special attention to the air and the details.

The menu is relatively concise, offering 3-4 different options in the categories appetizers, soups, mains and desserts. Fresh ingredients bought at the marketplace are compulsory here, so you need not hesitate: you'll get everything fresh and straightforward. The prices follow Budapest trends, but you get artistically composed, almost fine dining meals, courtesy of chef Balázs Elek.

A delicatessen will soon open in the neighbouring building where breakfast will be served from 8am. The selection is promised to include breads baked on-site, home-made jams, cheeses and meats from local producers – all of which will be available for sampling on the spot or taking home.
