Located in front of the railway station of Siófok, Millennium Park is sprawled over an area of 16,000 square meters. Not only is it a great venue for kicking back after a hard day at work or at the weekend, but it’s also a sight for sore eyes with all its luscious green vegetation. The charming atmosphere of the park is enhanced by the Music Pavilion with the statues of Siófok-born composer Imre Kálmán, and the fountain with sculptor István Martsa’s Woman taking a shower standing nearby. Donated by local artist Imre Varga, the sculpture called Martyrs is also to be found here, as is Sándor Kiss’ WW2 memorial. Musical events a regularly held in the evenings when the park is adorned with a variety of decorative lights.
