Balatonfüred’s first new wave coffee shop opened in its newest district, on the promising Aranyhíd Promenade. V-60, cold brew, light and dark roasts from South America and Africa, chai, matcha latte, and, finally, not the usual industrial teas in bags: they have everything one might expect from such an institution.
The little brother of Budapest’s Pazar Coffee Company is really more of an older brother: this tastefully decorated, friendly spot is larger than the one in the capital; it’s spacious, airy, and it feels nice to have breakfast or a coffee in the afternoon here.
The place where they serve “Sütis Móni’s” cakes and rugelach can’t be a bad place – Móni is the one who supplies, among many others, Paletta in Keszthely, Várkávézó in Szigliget, and Szélcsend in Balatonfüred with all the sweets. So it’s almost sure that we will visit this place not only for the coffee, but also for desserts. That’s not all: they also abundantly fill baguettes and tortillas with spreads, cheeses, hams, and vegetables, and they even have chia pudding and muesli for those who crave something lighter.
Tip: Esterházy Beach is only a few steps away from the shop – it’s a place worth a visit.
