Operated by István Ekbauer and his family, the Petting Zoo of Fenyvespuszta was established on the former co-operative lands on the outskirts of Balatonmagyaród.
You can walk into the enclosures of most of the animals; you can pet them, or feed them with the pet food you can purchase at the ticket office. Overflowing cuteness is guaranteed, as they have, among many others, buffaloes, goatlings, horses, ponies, donkeys, rabbits, pigs, and fowl. If you are up to an adventure, you can try horseback riding or archery.
Tip: Make sure to visit Kányavári Island if you are in the area. The Pet Zoo of Fenyvespuszta is opposite the island’s entrance.
