Jókai Lookout Tower isn’t the only place with a spectacular view of Lake Balaton and Tihanyi-félsziget from Tamás-hegy. A narrow trail leads from the parking lot of Kilátó utca to the cross of the hill that towers above Balatonfüred.
The giant cross can be seen from the town, especially when it’s lit up at night, and it only takes a few minutes of climbing to get there. There are benches around the observation point where you can sit down and enjoy the view.
